It hit me like an errant javelin, I’m not perfect. I pulled my shattered self up off the floor, wiped crocodile tears from my slippery eyes and thanked da Vinci profusely.

Leonardo da Vinci depicted the perfectly proportioned man in his 1487 illustration entitled Vitruvian Man. Perfect, eh? Let's see how I stack up...

I superimposed myself over my Vitruvian adversary. I didn’t quite fit (incoming javelin). I'm too tall. I'm slightly beyond the circle of perfection. I'm bustin' through.

I. Am. Not. Perfect.  

For most of my life I thought that I was normal, average or maybe even small 'p' perfect. Smiles. I’m not. I’m going to use this web site to celebrate that discovery. My long legs and arms have liberated me from a tedious life of perfection. Now it's time to run with those flailing appendages toward creativity.

I hope that you're inspired by my perfect imperfections.
